Friends of Faith Makes New Friends

San Francisco's historic John's Grill was the place where San Francisco's legendary Maltese Falcon met the solid gold, diamond and jewel encrusted Maltese Eagle to declare war on breast cancer on September 14, 2012.

We at Friends of Faith send out a big thanks to Ron Shore, Gus and John Konstin and Lee Housekeeper for choosing our organization as the beneficiary of the unique "Birds of A Feather: The Maltese Falcon Meets The Maltese Eagle" event. Thanks also to former San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown who dropped by and got the guests to donate hundreds of "dead presidents" to our cause and to Desmond Rodgers for providing these great photos from the evening. If you would like to know more about the event and the Maltese Eagle, click here to read the complete news release.

Friends of Faith and Their Friends Meet the Media 2012

Friends of Faith recently hosted a "Meet the Media" Event - which featured a tour of the ABC-7 Studios, a "live" viewing of the 6 o'clock News, and a chat with Anchors Dan Ashley, Carolyn Johnson and Spencer Christian.

The excitement was followed by hors d'oeuvres and cocktails hosted by Piperade Restaurant and a meet and greet with some very familiar Bay Area Media Personalities. Many thanks to ABC-7, the folks at Piperade Restaurant and the Bay Area Media Personalities who joined in the festivities.
