Ada Renée Williams is the Executive Director of Friends of Faith, Inc., an Oakland-based organization dedicated to addressing the breast cancer epidemic by providing essential education and information and by providing funds to local organizations that provide direct services to underserved and underinsured women with breast cancer. Ms. Williams brings to Friends of Faith a wealth of professional experience, boundless creativity, and distinct leadership and business strength. She is a poet, writer, multimedia artist, and anti-racism trainer with over fifteen years of professional experience in non-profit and government sectors. She has served as the Center Director of the Prescott Resource Center of West Oakland and as the Employment, Economic and Health Public Policy Analyst for the Commission on the Status of Women in San Francisco. Ms. Williams is the Co-Convener of the Graduate Theological Union Black Seminarians (GTUBS) at Berkeley where she is pursuing degrees in the Master of Divinity and the Master of Arts in Biblical Languages programs.
